What is EWS Barracuda?
EWS Barracuda is one of the research teams under the auspices of the Undip Robotic Development Center (URDC) by developing an Autonomous Guided Venichle (AGV) in soccer games. EWS Barracuda has been formed and actively participated in soccer robotics competitions in 2017.

At the 2024 National KRI held at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS), the EWS Barracuda Team managed to reach the top 18 ranking in the Wheeled KRSBI category.
To become a superior, innovative, and resilient Diponegoro University robotics team in facing competition and producing characters with strong competitiveness in the field of robotics.
- To be a highly dedicated, collaborative and resilient team in developing robots to compete in competitions.
- Instilling a culture of professional research and development of quality robotics technology.
- Contribute to improving Undip's achievements in the field of robotics at national and international levels.
There are three divisions in the engineering section, namely the mechanical, electrical and programming divisions.
Mechanical division
In this division, it is responsible for designing 3-dimensional robots, repairing robots, and is responsible for field construction.
Electrical Division
In this division, it is responsible for designing and producing electronic components such as PCBs, Kinematics, etc.
Programming division
In this division, the task is to create robotic programs or coding for movement, vision and robot base stations.
